I have used 4 of the devices for about two years, with the others added on recently.Long story short: The AT&T U-verse tech said that more of two of these devices creates enough noise on the power wires that it can blow their modems. So we had to replace a modem.Even after replacing the modem, the powerline devices aren't connecting consistently. This is an issue since 2 of these devices are being used for security cameras. I've tried clearing all the devices and resyncing them but they're still unreliable. I've read that these devices tend to blow out after a year or so of use so maybe they gave up the ghost.I also have a feeling that it may have fried the wifi on 2 of my wifi cameras because they have issues now with maintaining a steady connection to the network. I can't prove it though.I'm currently rebuilding the networking to use all wireless connections.-Original review below-I'm writing this review mostly to confirm that these will work with the Zyxel PLA4205 and the PLA4201 as well.
Which is AWESOME!I already owned the previous two, so I was pretty sure that these would work with them as well. Hit the encryption button on the old device, hit the button on the new device, and it synced up perfectly! Thumbs up to Zyxel for maintaining backwards compatibility.Not all companies that make these devices have a passthrough model. This one also does not block the upper plug when plugged in, but it's a bit snug.

I've attached a picture.These things work just as well as the other devices. Speeds are great, reliability is perfect. Even though it says not to plug them into power strips I do have 2 of the PLA4205s on strips and I haven't had any problems. Most of the modules I have are used for TV streaming devices or security camera feeds so they're moderate bandwidth hogs and no one in the house has complained yet of lag in the 2 years they've been used.A note on speed:Some people are complaining that these devices are not reaching advertised speeds. Be aware that these are 500 megaBIT devices, not megaBYTE devices. 8 bits = 1 byte. So 500 megabits/sec = 62.5 megabytes/sec under.optimal.
